BRAND NEW – PLAY SESSIONS
Do you want some new ideas, need a staff training day or perhaps a chance to take a break? We can offer play sessions within your own setting to a group of children, our current range include:
Earth Play – Would you like to explore the world of miniture gardens allowing children the opportunity to use natural resources ? Combined with making your very own grass-head.
Water Play – How about giving children the chance to make their own bubble wands in different shapes and sizes, and float their own home-made boats.
Air Play – This session explores the use of windmills and wind-chimes, encouraging children to make their own using affordable scrap resources.
Messy Play – Using a variety of resources we encourage children to get their hands dirty or maybe even their feet !
Circus Skills – An opportunity for children to use their imagination and creativity skills, includes dressing up, face painting, spinning plates and much more !
The sessions run for 1.5 hours and can be structured to suit your own inidividual requirements.
Each session costs £99
Should you have specific requirements we can adapt the sessions to suit, for example, you could select one earth play activity and one air play activity making a 3 hour session in total. Or perhaps there is a particular session you would like that we don’t currently have listed above. A team of our playworkers recently delivered an arts & crafts themed play session week during the summer. Each day had a particular theme including nature day, carnival day and a day at the circus. Children explored outdoor spaces and created some wonderful pieces of artwork.
Feedback received from Extended Services; I can’t praise the playworkers enough, they were fantastic even with the more challenging children. I popped into the sessions and was really pleased, the feedback I have received has all been very positive. I would not hesitate to use the services of Leeds Play Network next summer.
